Perhaps the decline in views, for specific writers, is due to their lack of continued relevancy for the reader. I followed a few writers religiously and then found that I was not getting anything out of their specific niche anymore. I had learned all I could from them, and it was time to move on.

I like to follow writers that have a voice I can relate to, but also write on a variety of topics.
